Crisis Intervention and Counselling Program

Crisis counselling to all survivors of sexual assault/abuse or those affected by sexualized violence.

Eligibility Requirements:

The agency provides services to males or females 12 years of age and over. Children 11 and under are referred to Alberta Children's Hospital.

Crisis counselling to all survivors of sexual assault/abuse or those affected by sexualized violence.
  • crisis intervention and counselling to people affected by sexualized violence including survivors of child sexual abuse(adults or adolescents), recent or past sexual assault(s), sexual harassment, individuals involved in prostitution and pornography related offences, or any other situations where sexual violence was present
  • 24 hour counselling support to the Calgary Sexual Assault Response Team, in conjunction with the Calgary Police Service and Alberta Health
  • support to family/friends of survivors and group counselling offered on a regular basis
  • group counselling (fees on a sliding scale, nobody turned away)

The above are basic office and contact hours.  Support counselling appointments can be made outside these hours as determined with the counsellor and client.Group Counselling is once a week
