Eligibility Requirements:

Families must have at least one child under the age of six.Can haveĀ involvement with Child Welfare.

Resources and strategies to stabilize the family and work with parents around life management and parenting skills.
  • bi-weekly or monthly home visits from a qualified in-home support worker
  • assistance in addressing basic needs (housing, food, clothing, and childcare)
  • emotional and social support
  • information and referral to community resources and services
  • help in developing parenting skills and family routines that enhance child development
  • strategies for managing behaviour, encouraging learning and promoting parent/child bonding
  • Moving Forward program matching parents under the age of 23 with a certified Parent Educator
