Mentoring program linking established professional women with new immigrant and refugee women to assist them in overcoming barriers to employment.
  • program for immigrant and refugee women who have the ability to effectively communicate in English, but are experiencing difficulties looking for a professional job
  • life skills, pre-employment knowledge and mentoring support with established professional women in their fields of education, career or areas of interest
  • bi-weekly workshops addressing areas such as being a parent in Canada, health and wellness, personal development, healthy relationships, life styles, work and life balance, stress management and employability and networking
  • mentorship support including 24 hours of mentoring over a four-month period of time
