A program for families with dependent children to age 18 affected by parental mental illness.

Eligibility Requirements:

Families with dependent children under age 18, whose parent is dealing with a diagnosed mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and chronic depression.

  • a Family Mentor in-home support program focusing on education, connecting families to resources, enhancing family functioning and skill building
  • a facilitated Youth Peer Support Club for children 6 to 12
  • a Family Network support program offering opportunities for participating families to connect with one another. Activities may include educational workshops and informal recreational and social events
