Legal Assistance

Legal assistance and representation for those who are unable to afford the services of a lawyer.

Eligibility Requirements:

Clients must fit within financial guidelines and the type of legal matter will determine eligibility. Society works with Provincial Court only and does not handle any Court of Queen's Bench matters, real estate matters, wills and estates, or indictable criminal matters.

  • legal outreach clinics providing summary legal information at the Calgary Drop-In Centre and Calgary Dream Centre
  • assisting students with academic appeals

September through April appointments are Monday to Thursday in the evenings. May through August appointments are held Monday to Thursday during the day with some evening appointments available. Call for dates and times at the Drop In Centre and Dream Centre.
