  • job boards and job search assistance
  • current resume critique and preparation of a targeted resume
  • interview preparation assistance
  • industry training courses such as ProServe, WHMIS, CSTS, Rig-Up, and First Aid
  • informational interviews, job shadows and work experiences
  • assistance with developing a career portfolio
  • computer lab, fax machine, photocopier, message service and access the Internet
  • career and employment website at www.nextsteps.org
  • volunteer opportunities such as the Youth Advisory Committee
  • specialized services such as Aboriginal Youth Outreach
  • scholarship and bursary opportunities
  • special events such as Hiring Fairs
  • presentations to community agencies, schools and youth serving agencies on career and employment related topics
  • posting of job opportunities for employers free of charge
